I’m Martín Montoro, a second-year MBA student originally from Lima, Peru. Before coming to Fuqua, I worked as an Investment Strategist at the largest pension fund in Peru, where I co-led strategies in Latin American corporate bonds and equities. That experience sparked my interest in how investment decisions can drive real-world impact—not just within companies, but across entire economies—which inspired me to pursue an MBA and pivot into Investment Banking.
At Fuqua, I’m involved in the CASE i3 Student Fund and the Latin American Student Association. I’m especially interested in how the intersection of finance and sustainability can generate long-term value for both shareholders and society.
